How you can help

Corporate and charitable Institutions who feel they
could assist the work of Kasanka Trust are
invited to contact us for more detailed information

1.  Make a donation to the Kasanka Trust.

By making a one time donation or establishing regular contributions you can join the fold of Kasanka Trust supporters. You will receive regular newsletters to keep you up to date with what’s going on and you will be especially welcomed should you find time to visit the park. Supporters can choose to give money for the conservation effort for specific community projects.

SUGGESTED DONATIONS:

£100 ($175)       Will buy a uniform and boots to keep an anti-poaching scout moving in the field for one year. Costs are minimised by obtaining second-hand army surplus items.

£500 ($900)       Will pay all the costs for a patrol group of 5 scouts for a month. This includes their salaries, rations, transport, bonuses, and the cost of resultant prosecutions. Each scout spends at least 20 days a month moving in the field.

£20 ($35)           per month will buy rations and supplies for a patrol group of 6 scouts to spend 10 nights in the bush.

£1000 ($1750)    Will pay for a teacher to be placed in a rural school for one year. With only about 30 trained teachers trying to educate about 10,000 children, there is a desperate need for more. Kasanka Trust has a special arrangement with the Education Ministry to place supplementary teachers in government schools.

£350 (600)         Will sponsor a qualifying student to attend secondary school for one year. This amount will cover school fees, uniform, transport and boarding costs.

Any amount you can give will help.
